Mr. Stone Ebeh has 20 years experience in the world of finance covering the public sector, corporate banking, retail banking, SME financing, and agric-chain lending. Mr. Ebeh holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Ibadan and an MBA from the University of Lagos, both in Nigeria, Mr. Stone has brought to bear basic engineering principles in the formulation and design of financial services and products to meet a diverse client base.
At Intercontinental bank (now Access Bank Plc) where he cut his teeth in public sector banking and consumer lending, he was a key member of the team that signed up major government accounts in the Nigerian capital.
At Diamond bank (now Access Bank Plc) where he was a team lead, major international construction companies with annual turnover in millions of dollars came on board. Existing indigenous construction firms saw their relationship with the bank deepening as boutique banking solutions to their peculiar needs were designed.
His very brief stint at Ecobank resulted in the setting up of a regional Corporate banking desk in northern Nigeria leading to the successful activation of 5 medium size manufacturing, agricultural, and hospitality firms.
His 6years sojourn at First City Monument Bank saw him serve as Manager in 3 different branches. Winning bank wide awards for best consumer banking branch, branch with best loan-to-deposit ratio, and branch with the least consumer lending default ratio, Mr. Stone stood out as a seasoned banker with financial engineering skills. Frequently representing the region at the bank Credit Committee, Mr. Stone has considerable credit and marketing experience.
Headhunted by the board of Millhouse Capital, a financial engineering firm, where he served as MD/CEO, he raised the company profit level by 170% over a 3-year period, reduced the company overhead, and maintained a lean and mean team of passionate finance team. Upon successful completion of mergers talks between Millhouse Capital and Rhinoceros & Japicu Nig. Ent. Ltd, an international business development & Alternative Investment company. The combined board of directors unanimously appointed Mr. Stone as MD/CEO of Rhino Capital Ltd.
