Ms. Grace Ojonide Samuel is an Associate “Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria”(ACIPM), with an extensive proficiency in Applied Science. Grace Samuel, holds a professional diploma in Human Resources Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster, Risk Management and Development Studies. She is an alumna of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and has worked in various local and international organizations. By merit, she has functioned in so many capacities from administrative, managerial, financial to researcher as the case may be.
She has over 16 years of experience. Among these organizations are: the DFID-funded Research-Into-Use Programme (RIU), Nigeria, where she served as the Programme Administrative Assistant. Research-Into-Use Programme was a project funded by the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID). It focused on maximizing the effect of research into poverty reduction and economic growth in Nigeria and across other African nations. DFID is a United Kingdom government department responsible for administering overseas aid. The goal of the department is “to promote sustainable development and eliminate world poverty”. DFID is headed by the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for International Development.
In 2014 – 2016 She also served as a Technical Assistant in the World Bank-funded West Africa Agricultural Development Programme (WAAPP). The Agricultural Development Programme is a World Bank Project carried out across the different regions of Africa and that of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) region is referred to as “WAAPP”. WAAPP seeks to increase agricultural productivity and sustainability in priority commodity for each participating country in the region with the ultimate aim of building a food-secured future. The Nigerian team had aquaculture as focal commodity.
Other organizations worked included Development Input Limited, an Economic Development consulting firm, CAMTEC Limited, and Bologi Nigeria Limited where she served as Administrative and Finance Manager, Manager, and Admin & Finance officer respectively.
When it comes to financing and developing small businesses in Africa, Grace Samuel plays a key role today in Rhino Capital Ltd, where she oversees Finance & Administration.
